About Me

My name is Callum Mackay, I'm a certified Cabinet Maker & Joiner and have experience working in a number of environments, in domestic, commercial and marine spaces. With a strong foundation in Woodwork & Joinery, I draw on my experiences particularly in the Yachting industry. Having worked on board classic to modern Yachts, and some larger vessels.

The Highland Handyman was born because I wanted a new challenge and found that bigger contractors are often too overrun to help out with the small things that affect households and holiday accommodations. I like to think of the Handyman role as being a professional problem solver, who can also apply themselves to an array of jobs, not just to fix but also to alter, make and restore.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking and learning Gaelic! Tha mi an earbsa nach fhada mun cluinn mi bhuat (I hope I will hear from you soon)
